A man has been arrested and charged after a person was spotted looking into vehicles.
On Friday evening (August 25), officers from Blackburn Neighbourhood Team received reports of a suspicious man looking into vehicles near to Lower Audley Street, in Blackburn.
A man was immediately detained, and was then arrested and interviewed by police. He has now been charged and remanded to appear in court tomorrow (August 28).
A spokesperson for the police said: "Reports were received regarding a suspicious male looking into vehicles near to Lower Audley Street.
“Officers have made immediately to the area and detained a male.
“We have good news that the individual was subsequently arrested, interviewed and has now been charged and remanded to appear in court on Monday morning.”
