Christine McGuinness has set the record straight on whether she was away for her estranged husband's 50th - and shared the sweet way she and her children celebrated Paddy's landmark birthday at their Cheshire home.
Bolton-born Paddy turned 50 on Monday and Christine, a model and television personality, today took to social media to 'spill the tea' after she said reports were circulating that she was not home and away for the birthday celebrations.
Addressing her 710K followers on Instagram she said: "I'm going spill a bit of tea" before showing them a picture of the birthday cake she picked up for Paddy.
The couple are separated but continue to share the family home with their three children.
Taking to Instagram she said she had been to Ibiza but that was a week ago and was back at her Cheshire home for the birthday.
Posting a statement she wrote: "I got him a birthday cake, presents and made cards with our children.
"I done this for our children to celebrate daddy's birthday."
She posted pictures of the cake while demonstrating she was inside the family home.
She continued: "We spent his 50th birthday at home together."
Christine signed off: "Just a mum doing the best she can whilst living with her ex going through a divorce smiling when she wants to cry and juggling the school summer hols".
Paddy and Christine announced they were separating after11 years of marriage in July 2022.
Paddy said he felt “very loved and spoiled” after sharing snapshots of his pre-milestone birthday celebrations over the weekend.
He celebrated with friends in the build-up to his 50th birthday.
Paddy was surprised by his pals ahead of the big day who quietly waited for him to unlock and enter the room before jumping out and ‘getting him good’ with 50th decorations and warm welcomes.
Sharing a video of the surprise on Instagram, Paddy captioned: “They got me good! One more sleep until the start of a new decade!”
