The founder of a Blackburn IT company has thanked customers and staff as the firm celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Nybble IT was established in 1998 and opened its first branch on Darwen Street selling PCs and accessories.

Director Ram Gupta soon expanded his services to provide IT services, consultancy, and support to an ever-growing client base.

To mark the beginning of Nybble IT's 25th anniversary year celebrations, the company hosted a visit by the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen, Cllr Parwaiz Akhtar and wife Shagufta.

The visit included a tour of the revamped Nybble showroom where they showcased the latest digital signage technology.

The company has also been involving itself in community and social causes within the borough.

Ram said: "It is very humbling to look back at where we started and to see the difference that Nybble has made to everyone connected to us, including our team and the Blackburn community.

"Our aim was always to be a business with a social conscience, and we are proud to be recognised for our commitment to that aim. I cannot believe where the last 25 years have gone."
