Nineties nostalgia is coming to Burnley next month with a tribute show covering the hit bands of the decade - including, Take That, Oasis, The Spice Girls, and Supergrass.

The 90sLive! stage show at the Mechanics Theatre will also feature a line-up of chart-toppers made famous by the likes of Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, The Vengaboys, Bryan Adams, Boyzone, Shania Twain, Aqua, Lou Bega, Eternal, B*withced, Wet Wet Wet, Ace of Base, 2 Unlimited, S Club 7, Gina G, Pulp, Blur, and Shampoo.

The show will be on for one night only on its nationwide tour, taking place on Friday, September 8, starting at 7.30pm.

Show promoter James Taylor, of Entertainers, said: "As we set you free and pump up the jam, 90sLive! will spice up your life, taking you back for good and hit you one more time in the ultimate party night out."

The talented cast will bring the music of a generation to life with vocals, costumes, and all the dance moves from the era.

James added: "And don't worry if you've forgotten them, we'll remind you!"

Burnley Mechanics Theatre is a Grade-II listing building opened in 1987, boasting performance spaces, state-of-the-art technical facilities, and spaces for socialising, and run by Burnley Leisure and Culture.

The theatre's programme in recent years has featured some of the biggest names in showbusiness, such as Sir Ian McKellen, The Osmonds, John Bishop, Alan Carr, Lee Nelson, Tim Vine, and the stars of Strictly Come Dancing.
