There is good news for four of Burnley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, after recent inspections.
Food hygiene inspectors have rated four eateries five out of five, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Within the inspections, eateries are examined on food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety.
The eateries handed a new five-out-of-five rating are:
- Abubakr Trust Burnley at 53a Daneshouse Road, Burnley, Lancashire; rated on July 18
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.
- The Workshop at Unit 21, Riverside Mill, Lune Street, Padiham; rated on July 14
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.

- Raidy's at 29 - 31 Bridge Street, Burnley; rated on July 13
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.
- Spoilt 4 Choice at 11 Rosegrove Lane, Burnley; rated on July 13
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.
It means that of Burnley's 142 similar establishments with ratings, 96 (68 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
