A man in his 30s was seriously injured in a van crash in Belmont.
At around 5pm on Saturday (August 5), police were called to Church Street.
A Ford Transit caddy van had left the carriageway and smashed into a wall leaving the passenger with a ‘serious shoulder injury'.
A number of patrols were at the scene of the crash, at the junction of Rivington Road and High Street.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Our officers were called at 4.55pm on Saturday (Aug 5) to Church Street, Belmont to a report that a Ford Transit caddy van had left the carriageway and collided with a wall.
“A passenger in the vehicle, a man in his 30s, suffered a serious shoulder injury and was taken to hospital.
“Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact us on 101, quoting log 0921 of Aug 5.”
