By the mid 1960s more families had cars which meant that an increasing number of cafes sprung up around East Lancashire catering for those taking a tip out at the weekend.
We think that this photo shows one of those establishments. This was Higher Barn Cafe at Samlesbury pictured in 1965.
We don’t have any more details and that’s where we are hoping Looking Back readers might come to our aid.
