Members of opposing political parties in Blackburn with Darwen came together to clean up their local neighbourhood.
Sabir Esa and Rebel Miah, of the Liberal Democrats, Councillor Tiger Patel of the Conservative Party and the community service team joined forces to clean up the car park on Ash Street in Bastwell.
It followed concerns over the amount of litter and rubbish being dumped in the area.
Sabir said: "It is heart warming to see the power of unity in action.
"By working together with Councillor Altaf Patel and Rebel Miah, we can make a tangible difference in our neighbourhood's upkeep, fostering a cleaner and more welcoming environment for everyone."
Cllr Patel said: "I wholeheartedly support this collective endeavour to revitalise our carpark. Together, we can demonstrate the strength of our community bonds and the transformative impact of working in harmony."
Rebel added: "This collaboration exemplifies the kind of positive change we can achieve when we pool our resources and passion for the greater good."
The group organised the clean on Sunday.
