Firefighters battled an open fire which involved a large quantity of haylage yesterday.
At around 6.35pm yesterday (July 29), four fire engines from Chorley, Wigan and Horwich as well as the water bowser from Leyland rushed to the scene.
It was an open fire located on Jolly Tar Lane in Coppull and the fire involved a large quantity of haylage.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets and the water bowser to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 6.36pm on July 29, 2023, four fire engines from Chorley, Wigan and Horwich along with the water bowser from Leyland attended a fire in the open on Jolly Tar Lane, Coppull.
“The fire involved a large quantity of haylage. Firefighters used two hose reel jets and the water bowser to extinguish the fire.”
