Firefighters were called to battle a waste fire early this morning.
At around 6.10am today (July 29), one fire engine from Blackburn and the water bowser from Leyland attended the scene of a fire.
The incident took place on York Road, Langho where a waste fire broke out.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for 90 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 6.11am on July 29, 2023, one fire engine from Blackburn and the water bowser from Leyland attended a waste fire on York Road, Langho.
“Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.”
