An upmarket artisan desserts bar is coming to East Lancashire. 

Heavenly Desserts has become the latest tenant to sign up to the multi-million pound Pioneer Place leisure complex in Burnley.

It follows national chains Starbucks and Icaro Lounge, which are already open and Nandos who are fitting out their unit ready to open soon. 

The Reel Cinema is due to open in September.

The company has sites in major cities such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and York.

Cllr Mark Townsend, Burnley Council’s executive member for economy and growth, said: “Pioneer Place is fast filling up and it’s wonderful to see another expanding business coming to Burnley. Pioneer Place promises to be a great night out.”

Discussions are ongoing to fill the last remaining space on the complex.
