The list of finalists for the Great British Pub Awards 2023 has been released with 4 Lancashire pubs being shortlisted.
The awards are split into a variety of categories including Best City/Urban Pub, Best Pub for Dogs and Best Pub to Watch Sport.
Pubs from across the UK have been named as finalists for the awards.
4 Lancashire pubs named finalists in Great British Pub Awards 2023
The Bellflower in Garstang has been shortlisted for the Best Pubs for Dogs category as well as the Best Pub Garden category.
Burnley’s The Royal Dyche has been shortlisted for the Best Pub to Watch Sport award while Karl Quirante at The Cricketers in Ormskirk has been nominated for the Best Young Pub Chef award.
Black Bull Hotel Old Langho in Blackburn has been shortlisted for the Marstons Pub of the Year award.

The Bellflower is praised on Tripadvisor with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 2,604 reviews.
The pub is located on Parkside Lane in Garstang.
One reviewer wrote: “Delicious yet again. Hannah as always was attentive, along with Reagan and Sandra. All dogs greeted and given treats with the permission of the owners, nice to see.”
Another wrote: “Was recommended this pub by a few friends, went for a birthday meal with family x Very warm and welcoming from all staff x Food was absolutely amazing, lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back. Lovely pub xx”
