Organisers of the 2023 Great British R&B Festival have revealed further details of some of the major acts performing during the festival.
Teenage sensation Toby Lee, who has been dubbed a 'superstar of the future' by blues legend Joe Bonamassa, and was recently crowned Young Artist of the Year at the UK Blues awards, has joined the line up in Colne.
The 18-year-old is already a household name, having featured on TV shows such as Comic Relief, The X Factor and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
A video of him jamming alongside Ronnie Baker Brooks at the Blues Heaven Festival in Denmark has had more than 115 million views and counting online.
Festival Coordinator at Colne Blues Society, Simon Shackleton, said: "We are still pinching ourselves, this is an incredible coup for the Great British R&B Festival.
"We couldn't be more excited and thrilled to welcome Toby to Colne this August.
"He is an incredible artist, who is known all around the world and one who we feel will add something a bit different to the festival.
"We are already seeing tickets selling fast for the Sunday, so we urge you to get yours now to avoid disappointment!"
Toby joins more than 30 artists performing across two stages at this year's festival, which takes place from Friday, August 25, to Sunday 27.
Headlining the 2023 festival will be award-winning, singer-songwriter Elles Bailey.
This year's festival is being sponsored by Barnfield Construction Ltd.
The event is being staged by Colne Town Council in partnership with artistic directors Colne Blues Society.
Full festival tickets are priced at £100 and can be bought from the website.
