Children can attend free craft sessions and create art installations in Accrington Market Hall this summer holidays.
Arts in the Market, in collaboration with Create Yourself and Haworth Art Gallery, have announced a series of free craft sessions to provide an opportunity for children to create their very own "Under the Sea" art exhibition.
The sessions will take place every Friday from noon to 2pm, starting with an engaging story time session to ignite young imaginations.
Located at Accrington Market Hall, these interactive craft sessions will encourage children to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment. All children and families are welcome to participate and there is no need to book a place.
Arts in the Market, who provide free arts and crafts for children of all ages and abilities, has partnered with Haworth Art Gallery which is known for its collection of Tiffany Glass. They have joined forces with Create Yourself, a local organization passionate about fostering creativity in young minds.
Kate Furey, founder of Arts in the Market said: "The 'Under the Sea' art exhibition is an opportunity for children to unleash their imagination and explore the wonders of the ocean world through art.
"We believe that every child should have access to art equipment and to be allowed to express themselves in a creative manner.”
Donations will be accepted to support the ongoing work of Arts in the Market and Create Yourself. Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses or individuals looking to support this wonderful project.
Contributions will enable these workshops to be offered free of charge, allowing as many children as possible to participate.
