A road in Blackburn used by parents on the school run will be closed for up to five days.
Downham Street is shut between Saunders Road and Oozehead Lane from today (Monday July 17).
Diversions are in place with drivers asked to head on to Wensley Road and then on to Oozehead Lane.
According to the One.Network site the section is closed due to ‘highways repairs and maintenance’.
The route is used by parents heading to Witton Park Academy, Wensley Fold Academy and St Wilfrid's C of E Academy.
The closure comes during the final week of the academic year.
