PLANS for an outdoor classroom at Croft Top Equestrian Centre have been announced by Holcombe Pony Club.
The club has been working with Groundwork Pennine Lancashire and Lancashire County Council to create an outdoor learning space at the centre in Stonefold Village, Rising Bridge.
It will be used for school visits and by the younger pony club members to train for achievement badges such as bird watching and map reading.
Gillian Smith, trustee of Holcombe Pony Club said: "We are a very vibrant youth organisation; we pride ourselves in offering both ridden and non ridden activities for our young members to participate in."
