A driver has been fined and given points on his driving licence, after being caught driving dangerously in Blackburn.
Two vehicles were seen racing each other through the streets of the town.
A Mercedes Benz was pulled over and police discovered the vehicle was borrowed from a friend and being driven without insurance.
Police seized the motor and the driver was given six points on his licence and a £300 fine.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “Within minutes of MN28 arriving in Blackburn, two vehicles were seen racing each other through the streets.
“This Mercedes was one of them. Section 59 issued for inappropriate manner of driving, but it turns out the driver borrowed the vehicle from a friend, and isn’t insured.
“Vehicle now seized and driver issued a TOR leading to six points and a £300 fine.”
