A man has been charged after an alleged robbery in Blackpool.
Police were called to reports of an alleged robbery at a Cash Converters on Church Steet, on October 19 2022.
Officers have since continued to investigate the incident.
On Monday (July 10) a man was charged with robbery.
Gerry Michael O’Shea, 21, of Lewis Road, Manchester, was remanded into custody to appear before Blackpool magistrates yesterday (July 11).
In October, Jack Tinsley, 27, of Moorlands Crescent, Mossley, was charged with robbery and remanded into custody. He has since appeared at Preston Crown Court.
A police spokesperson said: “You may remember that last year we told you about an [alleged] robbery which had taken place at the Cash Converters in Church Street, Blackpool.
“We were called to it at around 9.45am on October 19.
“Our detectives have continued to investigate the offence and on Monday, following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, charged a man with robbery.
“Gerry Michael O’Shea, 21, of Lewis Road, Manchester, was remanded into custody to appear before Blackpool magistrates yesterday (July 11).
“In October, Jack Tinsley, 27, of Moorlands Crescent, Mossley, was charged with robbery and remanded into custody. He has since appeared at Preston Crown Court.”
