POLICE stopped a motorist after seeing him speeding and undertaking other vehicles on Barbara Castle Way in Blackburn town centre.
The town’s magistrates heard a Police National Computer check revealed that Catalin Patrascu was a disqualified driver.
Patrascu, 20, of Moorgate Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance. He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Susheela Regala, prosecuting, said police travelling down Larkhill saw an Audi A4 travelling a speed on Barbara Castle Way heading towards Eanam Wharf. It was travelling erratically, using a bus lane and undertaking other vehicles.
Aftab Bakhat, defending, said it was accepted the sentencing bench would need a pre-sentence report.
