Two teenagers have been charged after a spate of vehicle crime in Huncoat.
Two teenagers, both 16-years-old, were arrested by police and have since been charged, after several vehicle crimes were reported in the village.
They were caught thanks to CCTV footage.
One youth was charged with four vehicle interferences and the other was charged with a theft from a motor vehicle and two vehicle interferences.
They are awaiting a day in court and have strict bail conditions, which if breached will result in further arrests.
A police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, June 28, two youths both aged 16-years-old were arrested by the Hyndburn neighbourhood policing team and have been charged with a number of vehicle crimes that have taken place around the Huncoat area.
“They were caught due to excellent CCTV which was used to identify the youths.
“One of the males was charged with four vehicle interferences and the other was charged with a theft from a motor vehicle and two vehicle interferences.
“They will be attending court in the coming weeks and have strict bail conditions imposed which should they breach them will result in further arrests.
“Thank you for your support in assisting our enquiries.”
