Police are appealing for witnesses after a cash-in-transit robbery at an Asda in Accrington.
Officers were called to Asda, on Hyndburn Road, at around 9.51am on Wednesday, June 21.
A significant amount of money was stolen, some of which has since been recovered.
Two males were last seen running towards Milnshaw Park. One of them may have been wearing a bucket hat.
No arrests have been made and police are appealing for witnesses and information.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a cash-in-transit robbery in Accrington.
“Our officers were called to an incident at Asda, off Hyndburn Road, at 9.51am on Wednesday 21st June 2023.
“A significant amount of money was taken during the robbery. Some of the cash has since been recovered.
“Nobody has been arrested at this stage. Enquiries are very much ongoing.
“The two male suspects were last seen running towards Milnshaw Park. One of them may have been wearing a bucket hat.
“We would ask the public, particularly those local to the area or in the vicinity of Asda at the time, to check their CCTV, doorbell, mobile phone and dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything which could help our investigation.”
