Fire crews remain on the scene of a commercial building fire in Leyland that started in the early hours of this morning (June 20).
Shortly after 1.00am, eight fire engines from Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, Chorley, and Preston were called to the fire on Clydesdale Place.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two hose reels, and two ventilation units to extinguish the fire.
At 3.30am, the incident was reduced to four engines, with crews remaining on the scene monitoring and extinguishing any hotspots.
The fire service has reminded those who can see or smell smoke in the area to keep their windows and doors closed.
