Two German Shepherd dogs who have been at an animal sanctuary for five months are looking for a permanent home after their owner died.
Misty and Beau have been at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Edenfield since February and volunteers there want them to find the perfect home.
Misty is around 10 years old and Beau is around eight-years-old and Bleakholt staff believe that they are mother and son.
A spokesperson for the animal sanctuary said: “Sadly their human passed away, so we don’t know much about them, but from being with us we know they are very loving and cheeky.
“They both love to go out and about but Misty can’t do as much as Beau.
“They need to be together and in a pet-free home.
“They do pull a bit on the lead on the way out on a walk but they soon calm down.
“Both of them love people and are so friendly.”
If you feel you could offer the two dogs a home in their twilight years, please fill in the on-line application form.
