Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has no respect for parliament or the electors he has claimed to represent.
Since leaving 10 Downing Street in September last year, Johnson has continually let down the people of Uxbridge and South Ruislip who voted for him.
It was reported in May this year, that Johnson had missed votes in the House of Commons a staggering 187 times.
Johnson may not have served his constituents very well but he has done a brilliant job of serving his own interests.
It’s been reported that since resigning as prime minister he has raked in £5 million+ for speaking events and other extracurricular activities.
It should not have been a surprise that he quit parliament to avoid the scrutiny of a cross-party investigation about whether he had lied to the House of Commons.
Boris Johnson will be remembered for many things by many people, mostly as a showman and a charlatan.
Even former friends and colleagues of Boris Johnson have admitted he “wasn’t a very good prime minister”.
Boris Johnson’s departure is no great loss to politics.
