Good news for nine Blackburn with Darwen eateries as food hygiene inspectors rate them full marks after inspection.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated nine eateries a five out of five rating.
GROKE BRGR in Whalley Range, Blackburn, which opened in April, was awarded the rating after inspection on June 7.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are very good whilst the management of food safety is good.
Courtyard Cafe at Blackburn College, Feilden Street, was also rated a five on June 6.

McDonald's in Burnley Road, Blackburn, was also rated on June 6 and also got top marks.
The inspection report states the eatery is very good in all areas.
Orlando's Restaurant at Training 2000 Ltd in Castle Street, Blackburn was also rated the highest score on June 6.
The eatery’s inspection report states both the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good.
Pizza Hut in Mayson Street, Blackburn, was rated a five on June 2 and Costa Coffee at Blackburn Services M65, Commercial Road, Darwen; was rated a five on June 1.
Both eateries were rated very good in all areas.
Rafiki in Whalley New Road, Blackburn; was rated a five on June 1.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety is good.
Dunelm Soft Furnishings Ltd Cafe Pausa at Dunelm, Lower Audley Street, Blackburn; was rated a five on May 31.

Finally, Rose and Crown in Bury Road, Edgworth; was also rated a five on May 11.
