Four drivers were found to be driving faster than the speed limit after police placed a checkpoint in Preston.
Concerns were raised about speeding on Whittingham Lane in the Broughton area and officers were out conducting speed checks this afternoon (July 9).
Around 200 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, with four of those being found to have broken the speed limit.
A police spokesperson said: "Although education is important to remind drivers of the risk they pose when speeding, we will be enforcing such offences at various locations across the Preston area."
Anyone with concerns about speeding in their area can report them to the police online.
