Crews were called to the scene of a fire in Chorley yesterday.
At 11.10am yesterday morning (June 5), two fire engines from Chorley and Tarleton made their way to The Hawthorns, Eccleston.
The fire involved wheelie bins which spread to the back of the house.
Crews used one hose reel, thermal imaging camera and ventilation fans to extinguish the blaze.
They were at the scene for an hour and 15 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 11.10am on June 5, 2023, two fire engines from Chorley and Tarleton attended a fire on the The Hawthorns, Eccleston which involved wheelie bins which spread to rear of property.
“Crews used one hose reel, thermal imaging camera and ventilation fans to extinguish the fire and remained in attendance for approximately seventy-five minutes.”
