A friendship and dating agency for adults with autism and learning difficulties held their annual summer ball.
The festival-inspired event was held at Blackburn Rovers’ Ewood Park stadium and included live music and food for those who attended.
The summer ball is held each year to give people with learning difficulties and autism a chance to get out and meet new people.
The event is run by Meet N Match, an agency run by community interest company Spring into Action, which is based in Accrington and has been running since 2012.
Spring into Action aims to provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities to engage in activities, volunteer within services and find employment.
As well as helping people to find friendship or a relationship, Meet N Match also provides social activities and relationship training to help people improve their experiences when looking for new connections.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn, Cllr Parwaiz Akhtar and his wife Shagufta Akhtar, also attended the event and it was their first engagement in the role.
The Mayor gave a speech praising the efforts of Spring into Action for the work they do for adults with autism and learning disabilities.
