The Red Arrows will fly over Southport Air Show in September, it has been announced.
Southport Air Show announced the “great news” on Twitter, posting the schedule for other aircraft that visitors can see at the show too.
The annual event will return to Southport Beach on September 9 and 10 with fun to be had by all the family.
Flight simulators, assault courses, climbing walls and more will be available to see at the show, according to the Visit Southport website.

When will the Red Arrows perform at the air show?
The Red Arrows will perform at the air show on September 9.
The Typhoon Display team will take to the skies on September 10 while BBMF will fly on both days.
Also flying on both days is the Tutor Display Team.
How to buy tickets to Southport Air Show
Tickets are available for the Southport Air Show now with general admission tickets costing around £10 per person.
Under 16s can attend the event free of charge and picnics on the beach are encouraged for those wanting to keep the cost down.
Tickets can be bought and more information can be found via the Visit Southport website.

Car parking tickets and programmes are also available to buy online.
Gates and attractions at the event will open at 10am with the flying display starting at around midday and ending at around 5pm.
The show is expected to close at about 6pm on both days.
For those travelling to the event, car parks will open from 9am however beach parking and the Marine Drive will open at 10am.
