The outpatient pharmacy service at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital has moved to a new location.
The new site, situated outside the main building, is in the portable cabin that previously housed the Renal Unit on Old Bank Lane near the main visitor car park.
It is much bigger and has been specifically designed to the needs of the pharmacy, providing a better patient experience.
The outpatient’s pharmacy is run in collaboration with Lloyds Pharmacy and the opening times are Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6pm, Saturday and Bank Holidays between 9am and 1pm and it is closed on Sundays.

The inpatient pharmacy will remain in its current location on level one of the main hospital building.
The inpatient pharmacy will no longer be able to help with routine prescriptions but will dispense urgent outpatient prescriptions during these times, Saturday and Bank Holidays between 1pm and 4pm and on Sunday between 9am and 4pm.
