Tributes have been flooding in from school friends, loved ones and even strangers who have been left reeling by the death of a pregnant mum-of-two in a motorway crash at the weekend.

Frankie Jules-Hough, from Chadderton in Oldham, was travelling on the M66 on Saturday with her two children, Rocky, two, Tommy, nine, and her nephew, Tobies, four, when the family were involved in a car crash.

All four were taken to hospital by air ambulance from the scene and while the children remain in critical care from the horror crash, 38-year-old Frankie died from her injuries yesterday.

Adil Iqbal, 22, of Hope Street, Accrington, has been charged with causing Frankie's death by dangerous driving, along with two other charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

A GoFundMe page was set up by Frankie's best friend in the aftermath of the crash which read their lives had been "turned upside down in the blink of an eye".

The appeal revealed the mother-of-two was 18 weeks pregnant and stated she "lost her fight and her baby girl" in the early hours of Monday morning.

Frankie's friend, Debbie Wright, who set up the appeal for funds which has since amassed more than £38,000, wrote: "Words cannot express what her family and friends are going through now, not to mention her poor boys who now have to grow up without their mummy and sister they never got to meet.

"Frankie touched the lives of so many with her beautiful, kind soul.

"Heaven has gained a true angel."

The friend also revealed her two boys are "showing positive signs" but are "not out of the woods yet".

Tributes from those who knew Frankie have also been pouring into The Oldham Times' book of condolence with many commenting on Frankie's "pure heart" and her talented singing voice.

Kimberley Woodward from Buttercup Day Nursery said: "I cannot begin to put into words what a special person Franki was.

"Fierce, protective, happy and so talented.

"She fought for what was right, had the purest heart and it was a joy to be in her company.

"Angel wings were given to you a long time ago, Franki, today you were asked to use them.

"I have no doubt you will continue to change lives - your memory and legacy will stay strong."

Natalie wrote: "I have many memories of Franki, one being a friend at a time when I needed one from being in school to seeing her role on Hollyoaks.

"I remember her beautiful singing.

"Just an all-round genuine, lovely, strong, beautiful woman.

"My heart goes out to all the family and her partner, Calvin. I can't begin to imagine what you are all going through."

Laura Reeves-Ashton added: "No words can even come close to the loss on the world today.

"You were one of the most kindest, honest and loving people ever.

"You are going to be missed by so many people.

"Sleep well lovely with your baby girl."

Another friend, Louise Fitton, said she wanted to leave a tribute but struggled to articulate her thoughts.

"I am not very good with words like you were Frankie.

"I just know that you will be watching over your boys and nephew, healing them from above.

"May your beautiful soul rest in peace and your baby girl be by your side.

"You were the best mamma, and no doubt the best daughter, sister, auntie and friend to all that knew you, Frankie.

"We miss your infectious smile and pureness in this cruel, cruel world we live in."

Vikkilee Sunderland said she used to be a neighbour of Frankie's and said she was a "lovely girl".

Angela Murtagh Scott said she first met Frankie a few years ago and knows her family.

"I'm absolutely devastated that this has happened to such a caring family", she added.

A former school friend, Marie Styles Brown, said she has "never forgot" how Frankie "sung her heart out on stage at school, making the hairs on the back of my neck stick up".

"Such strength and wisdom in her vocals.

"Her strength and courage to stand up for herself and others will stay with me."

There have also been countless tributes from those who did not know Frankie but have been touched by the tragedy with many saying they are keeping her family in their thoughts and praying for her two boys.
