Blackburn actress Helen Flanagan has been eliminated from I’m a Celebrity… South Africa and now she has revealed her desire to return to an ITV soap.
The former Westholme School pupil and Dean Gaffney were eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… South Africa on Wednesday night (May 10).
In the challenge, celebrities were locked in boxes and tasked with opening locks while being joined by bugs and critters.
Former Coronation Street star Flanagan said after her departure that she had been doing preparation following her infamous stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2012.
The 32-year-old actress said: “I worked on a lot of my fears before I went to South Africa. I went to Go Ape a lot! I went about 10 times before I did the show to work on heights and stuff.”

She said: “My mum looked after my two daughters and moved into my house and took them to school. And my mother-in-law who I’m really close to looked after my little boy.”
Appearing on Lorraine this morning (May 11) Helen opened up about her exit and possible return to the Coronation Street cobbles.
She said: “Do you know what it was? It was the keys. As soon as I saw the keys it was game over for me
“I was really determined to try and smash it for my kids… I got really drunk when I came out.”
Lorraine asked Helen if she would ever return to Coronation Street to play Rosie Webster.
Helen said: “I really do want to go back at some point. And I miss Sally Dynevor [who plays Rosie’s mum Sally Metcalfe on the show] I really do. [She was and still is] like my second mum.
“I would love Rosie to come back as a mum. I feel like she would leave the kids with Sally.
“I do a lot of things on social media and I have an audition after this so fingers crossed.”
Lorraine then gave Helen a crown for ‘most improved camp mate’.
I’m A Celebrity…South Africa! continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
