A series of street parties took place across Blackburn and Darwen to celebrate the King’s Coronation.
In the Audley area residents of May Street and surrounding streets came together to celebrate the historic event.
As well as food and drinks for everyone, children got tot take part in a range of activities.
The road was closed off and a special buffet was shared with all the residents on Sunday which proved to be the warmest day of the weekend.

On Percival Street in Darwen there were games and plenty of food as householders spent the day in the sunshine.
On Lincoln Road (below) which hosted a similar event for the Queen’s Jubilee, families got together to enjoy a day of food and games.
Neighbours hosted the event which took place in the front gardens of the properties.
Audley and Queen's Park Councillor Salim Sidat said: "It was a fantastic event organised by the residents with special thanks to Mehrun Jogee for hosting the Lincoln Road event. We have a great community, all working together.
"It was great to see all the residents showing British spirit. Well done everyone for making it a special day for everyone.
