Firefighters spent more than an hour tackling an outbuilding fire in New Longton yesterday (May 4).
Crews from Leyland and Penwortham were called at around 5.30pm to the fire on Station Road.
Three hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire and breathing apparatus was worn.
A fire service spokesperson said: "At 17:33 on 4th May 2023, two fire engines from Leyland and Penwortham attended an outbuilding fire on Station Road, New Longton.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were in attendance for one hour and 10 minutes."
