AN East Lancashire householder has revealed dramatic plans to remodel his countryside cottage.
Junaid Feroz wants to transform his old-fashioned property on the border between Blackburn and Belthorn into an ultramodern 21st Century designer home.
He has submitted a planning application to Hyndburn Council for the work at 2 Lane End Cottages, Sough Lane in Guide along with CGI images of how the remodelled house will look.
The changes proposed are: "External alterations to the front elevation by altering the existing openings and centrally relocating entrance door.
"Rebuild gable elevation wall with the inclusion of ground floor bi-fold doors and an apex curtain wall glazing from the first floor to the underside of the roof ridge.
"Form new opening to the rear elevation for sliding door with an apex curtain wall glazing from the first floor to the underside of the proposed apex dormer ridge."
