A man who pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted burglary has been jailed.
Chris Follet, 48, appeared at Magistrates Court yesterday (May 3) after police received reports of men acting suspiciously and trying house door handles in Great Harwood.
Follett, of Ashley Court, Accrington, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted burglary and was jailed for 42 weeks.
A spokesperson for the police said: “You'll remember that we told you yesterday about a man called Chris Follet who was charged after an investigation into reports of men acting suspiciously and trying house door handles in Great Harwood.
“Just to update you that Follett, 48, of Ashley Court, Accrington, appeared at magistrates court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted burglary. He was jailed for 42 weeks.
“Thanks once again to everyone from the community who provided CCTV and Ring doorbell footage which led to the arrest and charge of Follett and to yesterday's swift justice.”
