Fire crews spent an hour battling a blaze at a house yesterday afternoon.
At around 5.50pm yesterday (April 28), two fire engines from Preston were rushed to the scene on Merryburn Close in Fulwood.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 5.48pm on April 28, two fire engines from Preston attended an incident on Merryburn Close in Preston. The fire involved a domestic property.
“Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
