Firefighters rushed to a flat as a blaze ripped through the roof of a flat.
At around 7pm last night (April 27), three fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham were called to the scene of the fire on Duke Street in Bamber Bridge.
Crews used one hose reel and a triple extension ladder to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for around 50 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 6.56pm on the April 27 three fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham attended a building fire on Duke Street, Bamber Bridge.
“The fire involved the flat roof of a domestic flat. Fire crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel and one triple extension ladder.
“Fire crews were in attendance for approximately fifty minutes.”
