A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Leyland left a man with "life-changing" injuries.
A man in his 20s was stabbed in an attack at around 7.30pm outside Spar on Leyland Lane on Friday, April 21.
An 18-year-old man from Leyland was arrested on suspicion of murder the next day, while a 16-year-old boy from Bootle was arrested on Monday (April 24).
A police spokesperson said: "A 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing which took place in Leyland Lane, Leyland, at 7.38pm on Friday.
"A man suffered life-changing injuries.
"An 18-year-old, also arrested, has been bailed.
