An Accrington-based charity which helps to positively impact the health and wellbeing of residents has been awarded a grant which will help its participants to use public transport.
Community Solutions North West (CSNW) has been successful in securing the grant of £2,391.75 from the ‘Let’s Connect Communities’ fund set up by Community Rail Lancashire (CRL) and Connecting East Lancashire (CEL).

The fund will help CSNW to support its participants to use public transport, especially the local rail network across East Lancashire.
Chris Emmerson, enterprise development manager at CSNW, said: “The grant will allow us to take our participants on trips across East Lancashire and visit some different museums and attractions across the rail network.
