A man, who breached his bail conditions and was not meant to be in Lancashire, had to be detained by police officers.

The male was spotted on a train in Preston.

According to the British Transport Police he resisted officers and had to be detained in handcuffs. He was later handed over to Preston Police.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Local police advised us of a male with bail conditions not to be in Lancashire who had been spotted in Preston and was likely headed for the station.

“We located him on a train and he had to be detained in handcuffs after resisting officers. Handed over to Preston Police.”
