A woman has been freed on bail after being quizzed over the murder of a Blackpool father-of-two.

Greg Chamberlain, 26, was stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife at his home in Preston New Road, at around 3am on Sunday morning.

He managed to stagger outside, before collapsing on the street near the Boar's Head pub, before neighbours called an ambulance.

He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, but died shortly afterwards.

A 21-year-old woman, who is believed to have known Mr Chamberlain, was arrested on suspicion of murder, but has been released on police bail following questioning yesterday.

Mr Chamberlain leaves two sons, Callum and Harvey.
