Eid prayers will take place in a Blackburn park following the success of recent events.
The gathering will be on Eid morning, which will be held this year on either Friday April 21 or Saturday April 22.
The festival marks the end of Ramadan which began on March 23.
The annual event has been held at Corporation Park, opposite the Greenhouse, for several years and attracts hundreds of people.
Last year organisers switched the event from Ewood Park after heavy rainfall overnight.
Many people will attend prayers at their local mosque but this event has proved to be more and more popular as it encourages the whole family to attend with a dedicated section for women.
A spokesperson said: “We are happy to announce Eid Prayers at Corporation Park will commence at our usual time of 9.30am to keep it simple for everyone. All welcome, men, women, children, family friendly as in the Prophetic tradition.
“Look out on our social media platforms on the evening of this coming Thursday (after the 29th fast) for confirmation of Eid Day which could either fall on Friday 21 or Saturday 22 April.”
Although the ground is covered people are asked to bring their own prayers mats.
