Bands taking to the stage on the day will include Fleetwood Mac tribute, UK Fleetwood Mac; Queen tribute, QE2 Queen; an homage to Meatloaf – Meatloud; the Guns N Roses Experience; The Oasis Experience; and Desert Monkeys – a tribute to the Arctic Monkeys.

Tickets for the family friendly event are priced at £10 per adult and £7 per child.

As well as plenty of music to entertain the crowds, there’ll also be added extras in the form of fairground rides, beer tents, a food court, crowd entertainers, stalls and much more.

One of the organisers of the event, Zander Lawrenson, said: “Restricted Rocks has been our fastest selling festival since last year.

“Looking at the demographics on Skiddle, tickets have been bought from all over Lancashire and even Manchester which is amazing for Blackburn.
