One of Lancashire’s most anticipated rock tribute festivals is returning to Blackburn this Sunday.
Restricted Rocks, which is held in Blackburn’s Witton Park, will return on Sunday April 30, and tickets for the event are selling out faster than ever.
With thousands of tickets sold already Restricted Rocks is looking like the place to be for rock music lovers.
Bands taking to the stage on the day will include Fleetwood Mac tribute, UK Fleetwood Mac; Queen tribute, QE2 Queen; an homage to Meatloaf – Meatloud; the Guns N Roses Experience; The Oasis Experience; and Desert Monkeys – a tribute to the Arctic Monkeys.
Tickets for the family friendly event are priced at £10 per adult and £7 per child.
As well as plenty of music to entertain the crowds, there’ll also be added extras in the form of fairground rides, beer tents, a food court, crowd entertainers, stalls and much more.
One of the organisers of the event, Zander Lawrenson, said: “Restricted Rocks has been our fastest selling festival since last year.
“Looking at the demographics on Skiddle, tickets have been bought from all over Lancashire and even Manchester which is amazing for Blackburn.
“We are 80 per cent sold out and in front of last year’s sales by more than 1,000 tickets, with only two weeks to go.”
Tickets for the festival can be purchased from Skiddle by searching for Restricted Rocks.
