THERE is good news for three Burnley eateries that have been handed new food hygiene ratings in the latest round of inspections.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries new four out five ratings.
Yummy, a takeaway at 3-5 Ridge Road, Burnley, was given the score after assessment on March 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The eatery’s inspection report states both the hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.
Sue's Cafe and Sandwich Bar, a takeaway at 818 Padiham Road, Burnley, was given a score of four after assessment on March 8.

Finally, Salva Fast Food, a takeaway at 1-3 St Jamess Street, Burnley, was given the score of four after assessment on February 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Burnley's 141 takeaways with ratings, 66 (47 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
