A taxi has been left damaged after a "large" piece of brick was thrown at its windscreen while it was being driven.
The taxi was hit on Roman Road at the junction with Fishmoor Drive at around 5pm on Saturday (April 8) and was carrying a passenger at the time.
The large piece of brick was then thrown at the driver's side of the windscreen, causing damage but thankfully there were no injuries.
Police say it is believed the person involved was in a group of four or five teenagers.
A spokesperson for the police added: "This is the second incident in two days, and we encourage parents to speak with their children and discourage this behaviour.
"Please remind them of the dangers of throwing stones at passing vehicles.
"We will patrol this area over the weekend and offer reassurance to drivers and the local community."
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information should contact 101 quoting log number 1095 of April 8, 2023/
