Food hygiene inspectors have rated six Blackburn with Darwen eateries in the latest round of inspections.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated four eateries a five out of five, one eatery a four out of five rating and one eatery a one out of five food hygiene rating.
Afrikana Kitchen Blackburn at Unit 1 Roe Lee Retail Centre, Whalley New Road, Blackburn was rated a five after inspection on March 11.
In the inspection report both the hygienic food handling and management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building was rated good.
King William Hotel at 245 Chapeltown Road, Edgworth was also rated a five on March 29.
In the inspection report, the eatery is rated good in all areas.
The Golden Cup at The Golden Cup Inn, 610 Blackburn Road, Darwen, was rated a five on March 22.
The eateries inspection report states it is also good in all areas.
The final eatery to be handed a five out of five is Zands at 54 New Chapel Street, Blackburn, which was rated on March 28 and good in all areas.
A Blackburn with Darwen eatery was also handed a new hygiene rating of a four out five.
Spice Garden at 145 Redlam, Blackburn, was rated a four on February 27.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are both good whilst the management of food safety was rated generally satisfactory.
Finally, Taha's Mic Cafe at Limefield, 6 Preston New Road, Blackburn, was rated a one after inspection on February 27.
The inspection report states the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory, improvement is necessary for the hygienic food handling and major improvement is necessary for the management of food safety.
