Muslim staff from Blackburn Rovers were able to take part in prayers at the stadium during the month of Ramadan.
The prayers took place ahead of the home game against Norwich City at 1.45pm today (Friday April 7) at Ewood Park.
The weekly prayers are obligatory for Muslims and with kick off at 3pm, staff were invited to pray at the stadium by the club.
The club posted a video which showed a short sermon being conducted by an imam.
Prayers do not tend to last no more than 15 minutes and time was set aside for people to arrive and leave.
The club posted: “Jumu’ah Mubarak (Happy Friday) or Good Friday! Nearly 100 staff members were able to observe their obligatory Friday prayers this afternoon before the match.”
