Two men have been arrested after a delivery van full of parcels was stolen from a Lancashire town.
A stolen Vauxhall Zafira and caravan have also been recovered by police.
The vehicle full of parcels was taken from outside an address in Blackpool at around 2.55pm on Saturday (April 1).
It was believed to be travelling towards St Annes and was located a short time later by Roads Policing Team officers on Derwent Road.
Two men were reportedly seen carrying parcels from the van into an address.
Two men, aged 41 and from Blackpool, were arrested, one on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and one on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and theft from a vehicle.
Both have since been bailed, pending further enquiries, until June 30.
In a separate incident, which was reported at around 10.20am on Saturday, April 1, when a Vauxhall Zafira, which had been stolen from Rochdale, was seen travelling through Lancashire.
It was eventually stopped by a stinger just off junction three of the M55.
The driver of the vehicle was tested for alcohol and drugs at the scene and was found to be positive for both cannabis and cocaine.
A 28-year-old man from Manchester was arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving while under the influence of drugs, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
It was also reported at around 6pm on Sunday, April 2, that a caravan had been taken from a site in Sowerby, North Yorkshire, and was believed to be heading towards Lancashire.
Officers set up a stinger site on the A59 and a Nissan X-Trail, thought to be towing the stolen caravan, was stopped not long after close to Gisburn. The Nissan was reportedly found to be on false plates.
The caravan, described as its owner’s ‘pride and joy’, was recovered and a man was arrested and handed over to North Yorkshire Police custody.
A police spokesperson said: “We hope this sends a message that we won’t stand for this type of criminality in Lancashire.”
